Two Highway Patrol troopers fired

print friendly

Two North Carolina State Highway Patrol troopers based in Fayetteville have been fired, officials said Thursday.

Trooper Hubert Sealey, 45, and Lt. Michael Faison, 42, were dismissed Tuesday following an internal investigation into "non-criminal personnel issues," officials said. No other details were released.

Sealey, who also is a Robeson County commissioner, has been with the patrol since January 2003 and was assigned to the Motor Carrier Enforcement Division.

Faison has been with the patrol since November 1991 and was assigned to Troop B headquarters.

i wonder who was fired from macdonald's and maybe target yesterday?

a lot of people could be fired for excessive cell phone use these days, doesnt matter who you work for. If they all did NC unemployment rates would skyrocket.

FACT: They were fired for "excessive personal cell phone usage at work"....

I bet Bojangles fire someone yesterday also, and about 100 other places let someone go as well. And no, its not public knowledge because it was not criminal it was a PERSONNEL issue...This is starting to get really childish WRAL.
