Harnett County two-car wreck injures three

Three people were injured, two severely, in a wreck near Black River in Harnett County Saturday afternoon, according to the state Highway Patrol.

ANGIER, N.C. — Three people were injured, two severely, in a wreck near Black River in Harnett County Saturday afternoon, according to the state Highway Patrol.

A Ford pickup truck drove through a stop sign and into the path of another Ford pickup truck traveling south on N.C. Highway 210 near Harnett Central Road, troopers said. 

Both drivers and one passenger were taken to WakeMed Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Troopers said at least one person had life-threatening injuries.

No charges had been filed Saturday afternoon, but troopers said charges were likely pending the outcome of the investigation.
