Granville County school bus involved in wreck

Oxford, N.C. — A Granville County school bus was involved in a wreck on Tuesday afternoon, school district officials said.

A preliminary investigation showed that a passenger truck crossed the center line and struck the bus at the intersection of Watkins Wilkinson Road and U.S. Highway 15, officials said.

No students were seriously injured, but one was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Two buses were dispatched to pick up students and take them home.
