RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police said they arrested a Fayetteville man early Friday on a charge of driving while impaired for the second time in two months.

Brawleigh Alexander O'Ryan Graham, 22, was driving a 2011 Mercedes ML350 around 2:45 a.m. when it ran of the right side of Lassiter Mill Road, according to the wreck report. The Mercedes struck a utility pole, tearing down power lines, and went on to hit a mailbox and tree. It rolled over, finally stopping in a front lawn.

Two passengers – Stephanie Mejia and Alexey Stepankov – were injured. Stepankov, 20, was treated at WakeMed and released. Mejia, 24, was in the hospital Friday afternoon in good condition.

Graham, of 1131 Wild Pine Drive in Fayetteville, was charged with DWI and failure to drive within a single lane of travel.

Police said they also arrested Graham on a DWI charge on Dec. 12.

The wreck report states that Graham was doing the speed limit of 35 mph before and at the time of impact. The wreck did $5,000 worth of damage to the power pole and $60,000 damage to the Mercedes, according to the report.

Power was knocked out to about 30 Progress Energy customers. Lassiter Mill Road and Scotland Street were closed while utility crews repaired the downed power pole.
