Fayetteville toddler falls from second-story window

print friendly

A Fayetteville toddler is recovering from minor injuries after falling 20 to 25 feet from a second-story window in his home.

Fayetteville police said the 2-year-old fell while playing with an older brother.

It happened Thursday morning in a house on Kentwell Court in the Roundtree subdivision of Fayetteville.

The child’s parents were home at the time, police said. It’s unlikely they will face any charges.

In all intentions, he was just playing with his older brother...depending on how old the brother was, the toddler was supervised. I wish in all honesty that the critics would leave families such as this alone. It was an accident and it wasn't an intentional fall...

The parents were not in the room, the brother was. Where were the parents? And, maybe I will change my thinking of the situation.

Diabolical- Kids are kids and they do things you wouldn't even be able to predict sometimes. My oldest injured herself while sitting at my feet. She ended up with a 4 day hospital stay, but is now fine. So you're saying I was neglectful... even though I was RIGHT there? Think before you speak/type. No one is perfect and kids are some kind of talented at freak accidents.

Praying for the family. It is terrible to spend Christmas with your child in a hospital. Praying for a fast and easy recovery for this child!

these things happen. those poor parents are probably feeling sorry already, dont make it worse. no one can watch their kids 24/7. it sounds like an accident, and thank god it wasnt worse

Everyone else faces charges for unknown reasons. Why? is this family any special? They were not watching their kid. Simple as that. So, that's neglect. One reason not to have kids. If you can't watch them, than don't have them.
