Durham police are trying to find a man accused of fraud and other crimes.
Keith William Hayniem, 47, of Shirley Street, is wanted on multiple charges of obtaining property by false pretense, forgery and uttering a forged instrument.
He is also wanted on charges of identity theft, larceny and breaking into a motor vehicle.
Investigators say the charges stem from the thefts of a laptop, credit cards and a wallet and also from cashing several stolen checks.
He is also wanted in connection with other frauds that were reported in September and October.
Anyone with information on Haynie’s whereabouts is asked to call Durahm police at 919-560-4415, ext. 29303 or Crime Stoppers at 683-1200.
Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.
