Raleigh, N.C. — An 18-month-old girl was struck by an SUV driven by her father in the driveway of their Lassiter Mill Road home Friday evening, Raleigh police said.
John Huebner was backing up a 2006 Land Rover to connect it to a trailer around 6 p.m. when he struck Chyler Nicole Huebner, according to the wreck report.
Chyler was taken to WakeMed. She was in critical condition Saturday morning.
No charges have been filed.
It wasn't clear whether Chyler was stationary or moving when she was hit, the report states. The SUV was traveling at 5 mph when the girl was hit.
