Durham, N.C. — Durham Public Schools will hold its annual Magnet Fair on Saturday at Hillside High School, 3727 Fayetteville St.
The elementary fair will be from 9 a.m. to noon, and the middle and high school fair will be from 2 to 5 p.m.
The Magnet Fair is a one-stop shop for students and parents to gather information about a variety of schools they might want to apply to during the magnet application period.
Students can apply to year-round schools or magnet schools with themes such as technology, science and art. High school students may also choose to apply to small high school options.
The applications will be received online beginning Jan. 3 until Jan. 31, 2011. For more information, visit http://choice.dpsnc.net.
