Halifax, N.C. — The Halifax County Sheriff's Office released a picture Friday of a man who they believe committed identity theft at local businesses.
Maj. Bruce Temple said that cases of identity theft occurred at Travel World and Oasis Travel Center along Interstate 95 in Halifax and a BP station off I-95 in Roanoke Rapids.
Anyone who might recognize the man should call Halifax County Crime Stoppers at 252-583-4444 or the Halifax County Sheriff's Office at 252-583-8051. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that solve crimes.
