Rocky Mount, N.C. — Police were searching Monday for two men who held up a Rocky Mount furniture store and tied up a store employee.
The men entered Badcock Furniture, at 1473 N. Wesleyan Blvd., at about 8:45 a.m. and held an employee at gunpoint before tying the worker up and fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
A passerby saw the men behind the store and called police.
Officers pursued a black Dodge Charger that matched the description of a vehicle at the scene of the robbery. The car was found abandoned on South Halifax Road, and police have been using K-9s to search for the robbers.
The store worker wasn't seriously hurt, police said.
