California homicide suspect caught in Goldsboro

A man wanted in connection with a homicide in California was arrested Wednesday in Goldsboro, police said.

James Byron Milne, 23, of 2612-D Cashwell Drive in Goldsboro, was arrested under a fugitive warrant from Long Beach, Calif. Police said the warrant was in connection with a slaying in Long Beach, but they provided no other details.

Milne, who was based at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, was being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail while awaiting extradition to California.

"LoveSomeGolo".....His whereabouts were always known. You have to have a "fugitive" warrant to arrest a person from another state on that state's charges. A lot of people see "fugitive" and think he was on the run. That's not the case.

im a little confused. He apprantly is in the military? but yet, they couldn't find him or something? Am I missing something
