Goldsboro, N.C. — A man wanted in connection with a homicide in California was arrested Wednesday in Goldsboro, police said.
James Byron Milne, 23, of 2612-D Cashwell Drive in Goldsboro, was arrested under a fugitive warrant from Long Beach, Calif. Police said the warrant was in connection with a slaying in Long Beach, but they provided no other details.
Milne, who was based at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, was being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail while awaiting extradition to California.
