The North Carolina Education Lottery on Monday drew the winning numbers in its Cash Splash Millionaire Raffle.

The three tickets worth $1 million each are 286821, 193045 and 261600.

The eight tickets worth $50,000 each are 025293, 185171, 038808, 289132, 150997, 242150, 044790 and 192831.

The winning numbers for the 30 $5,000 prizes and the 560 $500 prizes will be posted on the lottery website as soon as they are verified, officials said.

The raffle was supposed to end Sept. 8, but officials delayed the drawing until Monday because of slow ticket sales. The lottery sold fewer than 300,000 of the 500,000 available raffle tickets.

Curiosity just kills me! lol I wish they would publish the winning names as they come forth....

I don't know why people are getting upset about the extension. The odds were supposed to be three in 500,000 for the grand prize with the hope of raising $10,000,000. Since less than 300,000 were sold, everyone who bought a ticket had a better chance of winning than expected. You might not have won, but 601 people shared $3,800,000 and the state barely broke even after printing the tickets and advertising the raffle. I've been playing regularly for about 15 years and have yet to cry about my numbers not coming up. I expect to win someday; if I didn't, I wouldn't waste my money.

I play a little here and there. I never really expect to win much. However, I have always played the raffles. ( it is fun to me and worth 20 bucks) But after seeing the winning numbers and knowing they put this drawing off, I wont play these again. Everyone I have talked with said they wouldn't play the raffles again.

I WON! I WON ! Just kidding ... don't know a sole that won in my area and I'm out $40

where does it say that 2 of the 3 were sold after the extension of the deadline?
