A Cary man has been charged with felony animal abuse for allegedly kicking a chihuahua, according to an arrest warrant.

The warrant alleges that Steven M. Soukup, 24, of 15111 Foresight Drive, kicked the dog, breaking its pelvis and severely bruising its buttocks and right inner ear.

The dog, named Hurley, underwent surgery at North Carolina State University's veterinary school, the warrant states. The dog was fitted with seven screws and a metal plate to fix the injury.

Soukup was arrested Tuesday.

This has nothing to do with a Liberal or a Conservative mindset. This is about people who consider animals property and it is ok, with them, if he did it again (obviously). To Kelondris: you cannot kick an animal by accident and break his pelvis and buise him all over. This man is a psychopath and needs to be prosecuted as does the people that returned the dog to him.

hmm, wonder why he kicked that dog? If he was getting attacked by that dog, I could see him kicking it.

I think I've finally mastered the GOLO poster playbook: First, an eye for an eye so kick him in the pelvis. Second, give him the death penalty.

WOW OMG

this is terrible, why do monsters pick on lil things to beat?

jwright5...were you often attached or attacked? LOL
