Cary, N.C. — Firefighters extinguished a fire at the Harrison Motel at 607 E Chatham St. in downtown Cary on Friday, town spokeswoman Susan Moran said.
The fire started just after 6 p.m. and spread through the three-building complex. One building was heavily damaged, Moran said.
No injuries have been reported.
The Red Cross is helping residents displaced by the fire.
The cause remained under investigation.
