A paraglider crashed Sunday evening while attempting to land in Warren County.

Captain Karl Hehl of the Warrenton Rural Volunteer Fire Department said the glider went down at about 9 p.m. off Airport Road near Warrenton.

A helicopter flew the paraglider to Duke University Hospital for treatment.

More details, including the identity and condition of the paraglider, haven't been released.

Investigators with the Federal Aviation Administration will be looking into the crash Monday.

Get your facts straight! First, it was a Power Parachute NOT Paraglider. Second there was NO CRASH. The plane hasn't got a scratch on it. Verify things before going for a story
