Raeford, N.C. — Three people have been arrested after Hoke County deputies and Raeford police found a large marijuana plant growing in their front yard as shrubbery, authorities said Friday.
James Alton Locklear Jr., 29, Darlene Hicks Woods, 38, and Jo Anna Jackson, 31, all of 213 Lafayette Woods Mobile Home Park in Raeford, have been charged with manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for drug use and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Narcotics detectives went to the mobile home park after receiving a complaint about marijuana being grown there and found a large plant near the front porch, authorities said.
