A Raleigh man has been charged with beating up a fisherman at Falls Lake last week, authorities said Wednesday.

Jesse Cole Shuping, 28, of 7900 N. Nevada Drive, was charged Tuesday with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He was being held in the Wake County jail under a $100,000 bond.

Kue Tai, 63, of Raleigh, told Wake County deputies that he was attacked last Friday evening near the intersection of New Light Road and Ghoston Road.

Tai was in serious condition Wednesday at WakeMed.

I have more and more concern for the education of our children in the North Carolina school system. As I read the posts, written by graduates of that same school system, that completely demolish the english language. I am so happy that I was raised, and educated in Florida. dwr1964

As I reviewed this literary work of art, I called the FL School System to see if any grammar teachers could be deployed to NC to provide mutual aid and rescue our children from the grasp of illiteracy.

I will take this opportunity to instruct the author to solicit a recent graduate of NC Schools to proof their grammar and spelling before posting again. Good luck.

wral, no matter how many of my posts you censor I still love you. Of the five posts on this article, you censored four.

That's exactly why I do carry in those places as well. I am too old to take a beating, and I will deal with the illegal part later!! Tolip

Well said Tolip....so do I. Better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6 is my motto!
