Raleigh, N.C. — Two men were shot while sitting on the porch of a Raleigh home Tuesday night, police said.
The men were shot at 609 Hay Lane around 10 p.m. Neighbors said they heard a series of gunshots.
"Someone walked up to the house and just started shooting,” police Capt. Chris Bertram said.
One victim was in critical condition at WakeMed Wednesday morning. The second victim was shot in the arm and had non-life-threatening injuries. Their identities haven't been released.
No arrests have been made. Police said they aren't sure what prompted the shooting or if the suspect and victims knew each other.
Investigators spent the night combing the scene for evidence and talking to witnesses.
Police said some children were present in the house during the shooting but were not involved with the shooting.
