A 40-year-old man faces charges of habitual impaired driving and fleeing from the scene of a wreck in Cary Saturday afternoon, according to an arrest warrant.

The warrant states that Miguel Romero Barajas, of 318 Cheswick Place, fled from a wreck on Southeast Maynard Road around 1 p.m. Saturday. Officers said that when they caught up with him, Barajas' breath smelled of alcohol, his speech was slurred, and his eyes were red and glassy. He refused a breathalyzer test.

Barajas was charged with being a habitual impaired driver, violating probation, driving while impaired and driving with a revoked license.

Immigration and Custom Services has placed a detainer on Barajas because he is suspected of being in the country illegally.

The Department of Correction lists Barajas as an absconder from probation or parole supervision. He has four convictions for DWI in Wake County since 2004.

Time for a national ID card?

Want an arizona style law without all the fuss ? Make immigration status checks on all traffic stops and legal contact with law enforcement mandatory! As for Mr. Barajas, this is a shining example of the need for the above mentioned.

We need the Arizona law. NOW!

Our border states are overwhelmed, overmanned, outgunned, and overran from the massive invasion of Illegal Aliens & Armed Banditos, killing Citizens and Law enforcement personnel and our Federal government sues the States trying to protect its Citizens!

Criminals and Illegal Aliens march in our streets all across the land demanding their rights, demanding we cede this Nation to them, riot, wave their flags and spit on American, its Government, Laws, Constitution, and Citizens, and our Federal Government defends their rights to do so.

Our neighborhoods are flooded with gangs, graffito & trash, Mexican flags fly in barrios coast to coast , our ER rooms destroyed, Hospitals closed, Schools overwhelmed, Prisons overflowing, 100,s billions spent on Welfare for the invaders, States bankrupted, Americans Citizens by the 10,of thousands are Robbed, Raped and Slaughtered and our Federal Government reward the invaders with billion in Welfare and promises them Amnesty for there Crimes!
