Harnett County wreck injures four
State troopers said that alcohol was a factor in a wreck in western Harnett County late Saturday that injured four people.
Posted — UpdatedTroopers said that Joshua Bradford, of Sanford, was driving east on Mount Pisgah Church Road in Broadway when he ran a stop sign around 11:15 p.m. His vehicle collided with a car going north on MacArthur Road.
The car driver, Joey Lee Scott, 35, of Broadway, was seriously injured, troopers said. She was transported to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Scott's 6-year-old son, who was in the car, was unhurt.
Bradford's passenger, 21-year-old Amanda Bird, was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, but later flown to WakeMed in Raleigh. A second passenger, Jerome Uiltiaga, 28, of Sanford, was transported to UNC Hospitals.
Bradford was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, troopers said.
Troopers said that Bradford will be charged with a stop sign violation.
