BROADWAY, N.C. — State troopers said that alcohol was a factor in a wreck in western Harnett County late Saturday that injured four people.

Troopers said that Joshua Bradford, of Sanford, was driving east on Mount Pisgah Church Road in Broadway when he ran a stop sign around 11:15 p.m. His vehicle collided with a car going north on MacArthur Road.

The car driver, Joey Lee Scott, 35, of Broadway, was seriously injured, troopers said. She was transported to UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Scott's 6-year-old son, who was in the car, was unhurt.

Bradford's passenger, 21-year-old Amanda Bird, was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, but later flown to WakeMed in Raleigh. A second passenger, Jerome Uiltiaga, 28, of Sanford, was transported to UNC Hospitals.

Bradford was transported to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, troopers said.
