Fayetteville pastor convicted on drug, firearm charges
A Fayetteville pastor was convicted Thursday on drug and firearm charges, United States Attorney George E.B. Holding announced Friday.
Posted — UpdatedRobert Lee McQueen, 61, a pastor at the Burning Bush Missionary Church and the owner of McQ Bail Bonds, both in Fayetteville, was convicted of one count of conspiring to distribute 100 grams or more of heroin, three counts of aiding and abetting the distribution of heroin and two counts of distribution of heroin.
He was also found guilty of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
McQueen faces a maximum of 140 years in jail and more than $2 million in fines.
