Fayetteville, N.C. — Investigators say Shadarryl Turner pleaded guilty on Tuesday to two federal charges in connection with a complicated identity theft scheme in Fayetteville.
Turner, also known as, "D," "Ditto," "Van Ditto," and "Shad" is one of eight people charged in the case in which employees of a Fayetteville hotel, restaurants and retail stores were accused of stealing and trading customer credit card information.
The other defendants include Johnnie Jenkins, Michael Miller, Jamisha Culbreth, Renee Hutchinson, Nykkytta Lane, Lisa Rouse and Chantina Cleveland.
The defendants used the credit card numbers to purchase goods, investigators said.
The alleged incidents happened from September to December of 2008.
