ROLESVILLE, N.C. — A 51-year-old Raleigh woman faces drug trafficking charges, according to arrest warrants.

Janet Roneice Kelly, 51, of 2701-D Stewart Drive in Raleigh, was charged with trafficking in opium or herion, trafficking in oxycodone by possession, trafficking in oxycodone by transportation and two counts of obtaining presciption drugs by fraud or forgery.

Kelly used forged prescriptions to get methodone and oxycodone from a CVS pharmacy in Rolesville, according to the warrants. Methodone is a controlled substance in North Carolina, and oxycodone is an opium derivative.

Kelly told authorities that she is a bus driver for Leesville Road Elementary School, but a Wake County schools spokesman said their records show that she resigned in April 2002.

Kelly was being held in the Wake County jail under a $4 million bond.
