Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police charged a woman after, they say, she caused a wreck with a tractor-trailer on Interstate 440 late Tuesday.
Police said that Rosa Marie Campos-Cabbera, 25, swerved in front a tractor-trailer as she entered I-440 East from Wake Forest Road around 10:30 p.m. Her car bounced off the tractor-trailer, hit another car and bounced back into the tractor-trailer.
Cabbera's car was pinned underneath the tractor-trailer, and crews had to extricate her, police said. She had minor injuries.
Caberra was charged with an unsafe movement violation and driving without an operator's license.
All but one lane of I-440 East was closed during rescue operations.

I saw her operating the vehicle again a day later after verifying with her insurance company that her policy wasn't active and called the police. I was then approached by the officer that made the stop, saying that I was harassing this individual. Apparently the officer was in trouble for the way the stop was handled since I notified the chief.
I promptly suggested she call her chief and let me speak to him, she (the LEO) shut up not too long after that.
Just because they have done something wrong doesn't guarantee they'll be charged with it.

Not necessarily true. I was the victim of a hit and run in Lillington, NC; after following the driver through town (myself maintaining a safe speed, her not and blowing through a roadblock) I arrived to the location where she was finally stopped.
I notified the officer what had happened as I was still on the phone with dispatch. They verified she had no liscense and cited her for it.
They verified she had ficticious plates, because the vehicle wasn't registered in this state, had WV plates. She should have been cited for no registration, but didn't. Because the vehicle wasn't registered, there was no insurance. One would have thought the officers would have cited her for this as well, they did not.
