A 30-year-old Durham man is wanted on charges in connection with a shooting, a home break-in and two attempted armed robberies.

Terry William Poole, 30, faces two counts of attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and one count each of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and breaking-and-entering.

Investigators believe that Poole was one of four armed men who tried to rob employees leaving Domino's Pizza, 3001 Holloway St., on May 23, 2009. Shots were fired, injuring one person.

Poole is also accused of being one of two men who broke into a woman's house on Ashe Street on March 5. She ran out the back door, and the men fled.

He remains at large.

Anyone with information on Poole’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 919-560-4281, extension 29123 or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases, and callers never have to identify themselves.

Poole's criminal record dates to 1996 and includes convictions for assault inflicting serious injury, assault and felony breaking-and-entering, according to state Department of Correction records.

just keep letting them out...

Beach4Me/ I know what you mean and I too wish for the same thing. We can blame president Johnson for most of it.

I just wish we were living in the good old days again.

Not only is he an outlaw, but he is not very good at it.
