Man, 49, charged with DWI, hit-and-run in Raleigh

Raleigh police arrested a 49-year-old man late Tuesday and charged him with DWI and misdemeanor hit-and-run.

Richard S. Carcio crashed a vehicle into a utility pole on Mount Herman Road near Lumley Road around 11:30 p.m. and fled the scene, police said.

Officers arrested him about 20 minutes later. He was treated for minor injuries and released from a local hospital, police said.

No other details were available.

Apparently it was a single vehicle accident and the driver was injured and went to look for aid, I don't see anything wrong with that!
