Clerk assaulted during convenience store robbery

Raleigh, N.C. — Raleigh police are looking for two men who assaulted a clerk while robbing a convenience store late Monday.

The men ran into the Kangaroo Express at 3289 Avent Ferry Road and forced the clerk to open the cash register, police said.

One of the suspects hit the clerk in the face, police said.

The clerk was not seriously injured.

The suspects then fled the store.

The investigation is ongoing. More details of the incident haven't been released.

Not everything is a "media plot" with a "Politically Correct agenda". LOL So, turn off Rush Limbaugh for a minute. Don't you complaining folks think that a news outlet would post every detail that they had...IF they had it?

They will surely update this story as they often do (if you ever check back) as time goes on. Sheesh...you're whining about free news... :-)

ncguy, it's not really that dangerous to fish the barren sea....more like the bering sea.

but i agree with part of your point; it certainly is dangerous to be tending the counter at any convenience store, especially overnight.
