Benson, N.C. — A vehicle caught fire on Interstate 40 near Benson and tied up traffic early Sunday afternoon.
Emergency dispatchers said the vehicle caught on fire on I-40 West at mile marker 320. The fire came close to the woodline but didn't catch the woods on fire.
The vehicle was not involved in a wreck, and no one was injured.
