Nashville, N.C. — An 18-year-old man died after his vehicle crossed the center line and struck another vehicle along West Castalia Road in Nashville Thursday evening.
State troopers said the vehicle driven by Markee Dontrell Strickland, of Rocky Mount, was split in half. Strickland was ejected from the vehicle and landed in the roadway.
The second vehicle ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and rolled over.
Strickland died of his injuries, troopers said.
Details about the condition of the other driver weren't available.
