e-mail print friendly

Durham police on Tuesday afternoon were investigating after a man's body was found at a convenience store.

Officers responding to a disturbance call near Linwood and Alston avenues at about 3:15 p.m. found a man’s body inside the Evans Mini Mart, said Kammie Michael, a police department spokeswoman.

The cause of death is not being released at this time, but the case is being investigated as a homicide, Michael said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Investigator Robinson at 919-560-4440 or Crime Stoppers at 919-683-1200. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for information leading to arrests in felony cases and callers never have to identify themselves.

"found a man’s body at Evans Mini Mart." Where did they find it... next to a pack of Kools and an empty forty of King Cobra?

Nice store - just drove by it - it has all the products one could want - full service. Yep. Shop there, get a sucking chest wound.
