A US Airways plane hit a patch of ice and slid off a taxiway at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport Saturday morning.

CBS News affiliate WBTV reports that the plane's nose gear and left main gear slid onto the grass. The plane's front tire was damaged.

No injuries were reported among the 77 passengers. The plane had flown to Charlotte from Louisville, Kentucky.

A spokesperson for the Federal Aviation Administration told WBTV that the agency is investigating the incident.

A trace of snow fell in Charlotte Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
