Goldsboro, N.C. — A Goldsboro woman was arrested Thursday and charged with abuse after four puppies chewed off her mother's toes, police said.
Latrina Latasha Monroe, 23, of 3201 Central Heights Road, Lot 309, was charged with abuse of a disabled adult causing serious injury. She was being held in the Wayne County Jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
Police said Monroe's mother, Sandra Monroe, was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital early Wednesday for treatment after her toes were gnawed off. Sandra Monroe is disabled, and her daughter is responsible for her care, police said.

AMEN!!!
They teeth until they're 12-15 months old like small children do.
BUT...something's telling me this disabled woman was left alone with them for farrr too long, and if the woman wasn't being cared for, the puppies probably weren't either.
Animals care for their own better than this, but she'll probably cop some kind of a plea and get let off with a slap on the hands because records of bonds, bails, fines and sentences clearly shows that few in courthouses care about children, the elderly or disabled, or animals.
pfffttt
Praying for the elderly lady, and for the puppies.
God bless.
