I'm curious why we're catching so many of them now. You don't really think that they JUST NOW started going bad, do you???

I am so heartbroken by this revelation. This was a great man. He was the best mayor of Oxford ever. There will never be another mayor of his stature. He has the wisdom of a ruling king. He has the insight of a deity. He has the looks of a strong African warrior. Oh why oh why. He is the reason why I am the way I am today. He is my martyr. I will pray for this good man.

That may or may not be the case for your contentions that there are perverts in both parties and that you don't care about their affiliation. I was pointing out the inherent bias of WRAL in their coverage of politicians involved in scandals. Nothing more. As an unaffiliated voter I notice media bias from a perspective that does not cause me any embarrassment. I don't have a problem with politicians in handcuffs from either or both parties. I just find it odd that our local media outlets put so little effort into concealing their own bias.

That the partisans of one party or the other seek to engage in damage control, as you are doing, is a given. Frankly, I'd like to see all politicians involved in a scandal or criminal investigation identified by affiliation. It tends to neuter the aura of moral superiority they try to cultivate.

I'm not defending him I fully acknowledge the fact that he's a sicko, yet fail to act as if he's comparable to a serial killer or a rapist. So let's see what happens with this case.
