Hoke County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an early Sunday shooting in Red Springs.

Lee Dial, 31, of 410 Hodgin Road in Raeford, was shot several times at about 7:45 a.m. after a party at 125 Nutley Drive.

Paramedics transported Dial to Scotland Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Authorities later arrested Larry Donnel McPherson, 17, of 186 Nutley Drive.  He was charged with attempted murder and felony conspiracy, authorities said.

McPherson was being held Sunday in the Hoke County jail under a $200,000 bond.

Charges are pending against another suspect, identified as a 14-year-old juvenile male, authorities said.

The investigation was ongoing.
