Siler City, N.C. — A Chatham County high school student died Thursday morning of injuries suffered in a car wreck last week, a spokesman for Duke University Hospital said.
Aaron W. Hudson, 16, a student at Siler City's Jordan Matthews High School, was driving on Silk Hope Road Friday afternoon when his pickup truck ran off the road and hit a tree. Investigators with the Chatham County Highway Patrol said snow-covered roads contributed to Hudson's crash.
Troopers said there was another person riding with Hudson at the time of the wreck, but did not identify that person or indicate whether her or she was injured.
No other cars were involved.

Thoughts and Prayers go out to the Hudson family. We were praying for a miracle. I'm so sorry he didn't make it.
