DIRECTV removed WRAL-TV and WRAZ-TV from its satellite service in areas of Duplin County on Thursday.
The company replaced the stations with the CBS and FOX affiliates from Greenville and New Bern.
Representatives from WRAL and WRAZ have contacted DIRECTV for an explanation and hope to have the stations returned to the satellite service.

I live in Efland. I get both Raleigh and Greensboro stations. Ha, ha, ha. Besides, who really cares what is going on in Mebane?

I pay my bill in full, every month. I pay for local TV coverage. Why should some government functionary or who knows who else decide which local TV coverage I get to see? I want to see Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, not Greensboro/High Point/Winston Salem.
I too, am a Libertarian.

I just wish WRAL would pay more attention to Mebane, as more people who live there work in the Triangle than in the Triad. A little less attention to Fayetteville would be nice too. Who cares what's happening in Fayetteville?
