Rocky Mount, N.C. — Rocky Mount police said that someone stole more than $5,000 from Zaxbys restaurant, 1410 Jeffreys Road.
Someone used a key to enter the business while it was closed, police said. The cash was taken from a cabinet in the manager's office.
Police said the theft was discovered shortly before noon Saturday. The investigation is continuing.
