A downed power line at Hillsborough Street and Chapel Hill Road in Raleigh knocked out power west of downtown Raleigh Sunday morning.
At about 9 a.m., more than 4,000 Progress Energy customers were without power, spokeswoman Pamela Oakley-Lisk said. Crews worked through the morning to restore power to customers in an area extending from the RBC Center on the west to Meredith College on the east and north along Blue Ridge Road were experiencing outages.
Oakley-Lisk said the company had all customers back on line by 12:30 p.m.
