Site SearchCary, N.C. — Cary police were investigating a robbery at the SunTrust Bank, 2080 Kildaire Farm Road, Wednesday afternoon, a town spokeswoman said.
Susan Moran said police were called to the bank just after 2:30 p.m.
She said witnesses described the suspects as two black men of medium height and build carrying handguns. No one was hurt.
The suspects fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, Moran said.
The North Carolina Bankers Association offers a reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of anyone robbing a bank in North Carolina. Anonymous tips can be reported to 800-209-2293.
