e-mail print friendly

Cary police were investigating a robbery at the SunTrust Bank, 2080 Kildaire Farm Road, Wednesday afternoon, a town spokeswoman said.

Susan Moran said police were called to the bank just after 2:30 p.m.

She said witnesses described the suspects as two black men of medium height and build  carrying handguns. No one was hurt.

The suspects fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, Moran said.

The North Carolina Bankers Association offers a reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of anyone robbing a bank in North Carolina. Anonymous tips can be reported to 800-209-2293.

Is that the Suntrust inside of the Harris Teeter? That's the only one I know of in that area but there could be another.

I am sure these punks will love spending their holiday in jail. Post those pictures so we can ID them and have them locked up.

The descriptions of the criminals have got to be wrong...
