WHY is NC Attorney General Roy T. Cooper so SILENT and absent - this is second girl age 5 (reported) to have been sexually abused in less than 2 weeks; AG Cooper was always on TV braying about all he has done to protect children from sexual predators but still the abuse goes on and on. Perhaps our NC laws don't frighten the perverts as we have thousands who are the sex offender registry who are not confined. If Mr. Cooper is reluctant to speak up for the children, do we really need someone who isn't going to get involved. We are talking about little girls, one of whom was killed afterwards. We need some sort of discipline for CPS agencies and personnel who do not do their jobs. Letting them off every time is just wrong. Also silent and absent is Gov Purdue. Begs the question - why?

The parents are responsible in this situation. Where were they at in all of this?

How did the five year old find herself alone with this man? Is he a family member or a family friend? This shows that the parents was not watching out for their daughter of five years old.

He was a child molester....the WORST kind......who preys on innocent children....What he did to that little girl was unthinkable and should be locked up in prison for the rest of his natural born and pathetic life!

What is with these types of animals that wanna do serious harm to little girls? We just had an incident in Fayetteville where a mother and her loser of a boyfriend stage a crime where the mother sold her daughter into human trafficking for a crack pipe,while that lowlife of a boyfriend kidnapped this child and killed her brutally and left her....yeah,left her to die in a ditch outside of Sanford. And these are the kind of people who didn't know how to be responsible parents should be sentenced to two consecutive life terms without the possibly of parole!
