Site SearchDurham, N.C. — A man is in serious condition after being cut during an assault at an apartment at 1503 Chapel Hill Road late Saturday, Durham police said.
The man, whose name hasn't been released, had a laceration on his neck. Investigators believe that he was cut inside Apartment D and that his assailant left shortly before police arrived at 11 p.m.
The victim was transported to Duke University Medical Center. Police said he was in serious but stable condition after undergoing surgery.
Police have not identified a suspect or determined a motive in the case.
