Raleigh, N.C. — Firefighters who responded to a house fire on New Bern Avenue in Raleigh last weekend found the remnants of a marijuana-growing operation, a search warrant for the property shows.
Raleigh police searched 2312 New Bern Ave. on Sunday after firefighters put out a blaze there overnight.
According to the search warrant, "the fire crew located a marijuana growing operation in plain sight in the basement of the house."
Police seized marijuana plants and flower pots from the property.

I could not agree more As a matter of fact, they should be able to read our mail before we get it. Even cell phones - think of all the illegal activities on them.
They should just go ahead and put microphones in every house.
Maybe even cameras in the bedrooms & bathrooms to insure that we are all "behaving"
