A Raleigh man is accused of stealing from the Salvation Army.

Enoch Henry, 29, of 1024 Southgate Drive, was arrested Wednesday.

Police said a computer, taken from the Salvation Army, was found in his vehicle. The computer was valued at $2,500, according to the arrest warrant.

Anyone who steals from an organization who helps others is the lowest, lowest of life on the earth. May he get exactly what he deserves and more!

Granted, $125k a year sounds like a lot, but for a national CEO of such a large organization, even one that survives of charity, it really isn't that much.

Forget even about the CEO level, there are plenty of computer programmers and business managers living over in Cary/Apex who are under 40 yeard old and make over $125,000 a year.....and they don't have to worry about running a nationwide company.

If they've got the talent to hold a job that makes so much money, then I say more power to them. Besides, most of the donations to charitable organizations in the US come from the highest wage earners, so it's all good.

" Not to support the 5 star community rating of the life styles of the rich and famous like these people are."

"but as long as they live the lavish life style"

Lavish life style on $125K? I agree that it's more than most of us make, but I wouldn't exactly call it an exorbitant salary to run businesses as big as those.

cut off from previous post:

From everything the actual website states... most (NOT ALL) BUT MOST of the employees for the SALVATION ARMY and other charitable organizations are VOLUNTEERS who get PAID NOTHING..ZIP ZILTCH.. SQAUT.. they dont get a dime.. not even lunch from the CEO's who run the Salvation army because .. OOPS they just spent it .. not on anything that will help their community but a new house w/ 5 car garage ..

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT.. LET THESE CEO'S EARN ALL THEY MONEY THEY WANT..

there is still homeless in Durham and Raleigh and across the UNITED STATES.. but as long as they live the lavish life style .. hey all is good. oh.. and since your here in this too why dont you pay for blankets and food for the 75 homeless people who wont get fed because funding was short ..

"Another fine upstanding role model from that community"

What community?
