Roxboro, N.C. — The State Bureau of Investigation is looking into undisclosed issues involving Person County District Attorney Joel Brewer, authorities said.
Brewer said Monday that he is cooperating with the SBI in an inquiry of "mutual interest," but neither he nor the SBI would release details of the investigation, including who requested the probe.
“We are absolutely cooperating fully with this, and we want to get to the bottom of this as soon as we can,” Brewer said.
