Suspected drunken driver rear-ends minivan

Durham, N.C. — A suspected drunken driver rear-ended a minivan at Holloway and Herbert streets in Durham Sunday night, police said.

Four people in the minivan were transported to Duke University Medical Center. Police said they were in stable condition.

The driver of the other vehicle was also taken to Duke hospital due to his level of intoxication, police said.
