Dunn, N.C. — A teenager riding a BMX style bike was hit by a vehicle around 8 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 95, near mile marker 75, outside Dunn, according to the state Highway Patrol.
Because the victim was without identification, troopers are asking anyone with information about the incident or who the victim could be to call 910-303-2423.
The victim was described as white with a slim build, crew-cut hair and between 17- and 19-years-old. He was wearing blue jeans and a black zipper hoodie.
The victim's condition was not released.
Troopers said the teen was at fault because he did not have lights or reflectors on the bike. They did not plan to charge the driver.
