Rocky Mount, N.C. — A worker was robbed and assaulted by two men armed with a gun behind the Hibachi Sushi restaurant, 1450 Benvenue Road, Friday night, Rocky Mount police said.
The men, who were wearing all black, approached the worker when he walked out the back of the restaurant around 11:15 p.m., police said. One brandished a gun and demanded money.
They hit the victim in the head with their fists and stole $1,000 in cash from him, police said.
The men were last seen walking across the parking lot.
Police did a K-9 search but did not find any suspects.
