Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh man pleaded guilty Friday morning to second-degree murder for the death of an acquaintance.
Mack Jossie Mojica was sentenced to between 16 and 20 years in prison.
Mojica surrendered to police on Aug. 24, 2008, just hours after emergency officials were called to a stabbing at 1500 Oxleymare Drive.
Mojica told police that he waited for the victim, Christopher Rivera Jimenez, 18, to fall asleep, then stabbed him. No motive was given.
