Terry Sanford High School Principal Diane Antolak has been suspended with pay, Cumberland County Schools officials said Thursday.

The suspension took effect Wednesday, but district officials declined to provide the reason for the suspension, citing personnel privacy rules.

Antolak has been principal at the school since 2006. The school received a silver medal last year in the America's Best High Schools list published by U.S. News & World Report magazine.

the suspension is in connection with "grade fraud" see here:

LOL, I DON'T KNOW IF PUNCHING A STUDENT OUT IS SOMETHING SIMPLE ALTHOUGH SOME MAY DESERVE IT, BUT IT HAS TO BE EVEN LESS THAN THAT SHE WAS SUSPENDED WITH PAY

If WRAL can post the principal's picture, then as far as I am concerned, it becomes a matter of public information.

My hope is that it isn't teacher-student fraternizing but rather something simple like punching the student out.
