Fayetteville Police Department cruiser (generic)

Two men and a woman face murder charges after a man was shot to death during a drug-related robbery on Landau Drive in Fayetteville Friday afternoon.

All three suspects had been imprisoned or placed on probation in the past two years, according to state Department of Correction records.

Fayetteville police said that Nicholas Locke, 20, Thomas Sweatt Jr., 18, and Sharesa Antoiniette Breece, 24, were arrested in the parking lot of Sam's Club after fleeing the crime scene on Landau Drive.

All three were charged first-degree murder and armed robbery. They were being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.

The victim's name hasn't been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Locke, of 1649 Inverness Drive, was on parole after being released from prison on Aug. 24, DOC records show. He had served 20 months for conspiracy to commit armed robbery and an additional month for assaulting an officer while in prison. He had previous convictions for second-degree trespassing, simple assault and communicating threats.

The DOC lists Sweatt, of 1110 Barwin Drive, as an absconder from parole stemming from June convictions for felony breaking-and-entering, larceny and drug possession.

Breece was convicted last January of being an accessory after the fact to a felony in 2002, according to DOC records.
